Shouldn't we help the Iranian people our best ally of the 1940's -70's ,IRAN?

It isn't likely. As you have heard we have been declared a "Christian" country and the same people that have made that declaration has also put out there that Islam is barbaric and inferior. As long as there Americans out there buying that there will always be a problem giving direct support to such an endeavor. The other problem is that we really don't have the money.
