Using stop leak on a radiator, till i get a new one ?

I going to get a new radiator in two weeks but i wanted to know if i could use stop leak to stop a leak for only two weeks already talked to my mechanic and we said two fridays from now, definatly need a new radiator and only need this as a temporary fix. but my questions is will this mess uo my water pump and other cooling system parts also
