Were there any units of the British Army that fought both the Japanese and Germans during WWII?

Just curious as to wether or not battle hardened troops specialising in certain areas would be deployed to employ their paticular skill in a different theatre.I have heard and seen snippets of information stating the SAS (a regiment born in North Africa against the Germans)m had small actions against the japanese.Also i know the Gurkahs fought on both fronts.
