When your toddler took toddler food?

My son didn't have any issues like failure to thrive it just took him awhile to get used to the chunks of the stage 3 and real food and would gag constantly.. I don't think he liked the taste of stage 3 even though he liked all other baby foods.. anyways what I did was take the stage three foods and mush up the veggies in it so it's not actually like chunks its mushy but still has texture.. this eased him into it a lil better.. he didn't start out well with "everything I ate" the things he did well with was things that mush easy such as banana's, pancakes, french fries, applesauce, cooked carrots, etc take these foods and mush them up for awhile until she gets a lil more used to the texture.. even if you have to trick her into trying it like make her think you are bringing the cup to her mouth and then sneak a bite of something in but make it something tasty at first like banana's or pancakes with syrup so she will like the taste and want to try it.. good luck!

Hello! I wanted to know the difference between the noise of a bad wheel bearing and bad brakes.?

I recently went to National tire and battery to get an oil change, also to have them do a general inspeciton since its free. so they did it and they told me that my whole braking system is bad, the calipers, brake pad, and rotors, so basically the whole system. anyway i knew that there was something going on especially with the driver side wheel because i hear a whurring noise when i accelerate, I guess you would describe it as so. when i push down on my brakes they do float so i know that the brakes need to be done, also they said that my side the caliper is broken and fused so i want to know if that could cause that whurring noise or could it be the wheel bearing?

Disability or Workmans Comp Fraud?

I know this guy pretty well and he has worked at Chrysler for about 8 years and he has spent 71/2 years on disability. This gentlemen has rotator cuff problems and has had surgery. After his surgery he did rehab and when he was getting ready to go back to work he pretty much re-tore it but did so on purpose. Now he has been through 2 surgeries and he told me that he is never going back to work and he is trying to go out on permanent disability. He is always doing strenuous work to re-injure his shoulder. Should I report him or can I even report him. He has openly admitted to me that he will never go back to work in the shop. I have seen him work harder at getting out of work than being like everybody else and going to work everyday. Who would I even contact if I were to report him? It is a shame but he thinks it is a joke but it is not to me. Can anyone help?

My fiancee had girls night out about a month ago. I was going through her Facebook friends and came across two unknown guys. I asked her about them and she said all the girls met them that night , yet she's the only one that has them as friends. She says their only friends and that I'm overreacting. My ac drip pan in my apt has standing water in it, the drain is not clogged. Is this normal and healthy?

The way the ac ceiling unit is made, the drain pipe is a little over the base of the pan. So there is always water sitting in it and it is a disgusting mess. My apt maintenance says its normal for the ac units here to have water sitting in them. I always thought it was supposed to stay dry or drain completely. Am I wrong thinking there shouldn't be any buildup of water in it at all? Or are they pulling my leg and not wanting to fix the problem?

Baby car seats??

If you can keep your four year old in a car seat then I admire you first off. Second off, make sure you double check the law, many states say 8 years old or somewhere around 80lbs. Some states could be a lot less. If your 4yr old is close to 5 then when you deliver another child, he/she will be close to 6yrs old and the proper weight to be "legal" to sit in a regular seat and seatbelt giving you that extra space for a car seat! My dog eats a lot of socks, and I'm worried?

Well, my 2 and half year old black lab LOVES to eat socks. He dropped it for a long time and we thought he was okay but the last 2 months he has started doing it again, and it's very scary. We have tried different strategies, like yelling at him to scare him (we didn't have anything left to do), and sweetly coaxing him. He throws up socks a lot. Currently he has one in his stomach and he has been trying to throw it up for maybe 4 days. We can hear his stomach a lot and we think it's because of the sock. My mom says it's in his intestines or something... I love my animals and am scared for Mickie (my black lab). Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, we have taken him to the vet before they just say to wait for any progress.

Looking for sailboat trailer axles?

Ok, I've searched the net rather hard but no luck. Here's what I need. I want to build a heavy duty sailboat trailer that's open in the middle. You these in marinas as yard trailers where they can back up to a boat on stands, put cross beams under the boat on each side of the trailer and lift the boat off the stands and drive away. These things cost huge $$$, so I want to modify a heavy duty gooseneck trailer I already own. The problem is finding the axles. Standard trailer axles go all the way across. I want axles that just attach to each side of the trailer arms, thus leaving the center open. The axles are sometimes called walking beam. Other names - types are stub axles or even bogie axles. Weight capacity should be around standard 1 to 3 ton for each axle. I'll add more of them if they're lower capacity. Hydraulic actuation NOT needed.

Pothole-proofing your tires/rims?

I know there's no such thing, but anybody "wow"-ed by any brand of tires when it comes to how well they hold up under 'rust belt' road abuse? I've also been speculating that a smaller diameter rim with a higher profile tire might be a defense against 'thrown belts', etc., as it seems logical that if my stock 195/60/15's are equal in diameter (1.2% slow) to 205/65/14's, or 205/70/14's (4.5%slow), that the added sidewall height could absorb and or disperse the impact, having fewer incidence of resultant "wop-wop"ing distorted tires, pulsating brake pedal, vibe in the steering wheel - anybody had any success trying these strategies, or something else idk?

I feel a bit childish

I went to Georgia to spend a few weeks with my aunt, I met my second cousin's friend, he's nineteen. We started talking and joking with each other about our family and our race. Well firstly she doesn't sound like much of a "friend" so i would stop calling her that right now. MTG Standard legal methods of bringing out large creatures quickly?

Why won't my lawn mower start?

It was running fine for probably 20 minutes while I was mowing. Then I had to cut it off to move something out of the way. When I tried to start it again, it sounded good for a second and then sputtered out. There's still gas, so I'm not sure why it would suddenly refuse to start if it was working fine before. You do need to confront your father, but not about drugs. Confront him about the lack of relationship he has with you and his grandchildren, and his overall behavior. It appears this issue has been going on for some time, and it may be because of drugs. Tell your dad that your hurt and really bothered that your not as close as you should be, and you want his grand kids to know him better than they do. If you want to help him with any other problems he may have you need to have a better relation with him. I don't know if your dad knows you feel he behaves childish or not, but if he does and is taking drugs too, he may feel more childish than ever, and has a hard time facing you, or getting close. If you want a relationship with your dad it's probably up to you to make it happen. If he is on drugs, he needs to feel important to you, and loved by you, before you can talk to him about any other issues. If you do all you can to fix the relationship, and he doesn't respond you may have to let it go, and hope he realizes the time he's loosing with you and his grandchildren. If you confront him about drugs, and have a bad relationship with him, it will only push him farther away.

Ok you need to calm down and stop worrying so much. You usually only get rabies from an animal biting you. Just because you had a cut on your hand and were licked by dog does not mean you will get rabies. Was the wound open and bleeding when the dog licked it if not stop worrying. The rabies virus has to mix with your blood to be ped. You dont have rabies stop worrying most rabies cases do not incubate or years. I have worked on a farm and been bitten by dogs and I have never had rabies. You do not want the rabies shot either they are painful and will make you sick. If you have had a tetnus shot with in the last 10 years you are protected against rabies and most kids a tetnus shot.

Just curious to know if you work in corrections? These are horrible statistics. Something needs to be done for sure. A woman I know has legal custody of her 3 grandkids but she let's them live with their parents anyways. However she draws welfare and foodstamps on the kids. The parents don't receive any government support. When they ask her for help for anything she threatens them that she will take the kids from them.This woman also recently adopted a mentally handicapped child because "those kind are $worth twice as much as a normal kid". This woman gets the government to pay her brother to keep the kids that she doesn't even physically have custody of and they split the money. Well the dog just probably hit it's mouth on the other dogs. For the future I would avoid letting them play so roughly because it can turn nasty at any second. This also stops the dogs from thinking that behavior is okay.

Need Zoom PCI Cable Modem drivers for WinXP or Vista - not the .exe from the website, but the .inf. Help!?

I've been using the Zoom PCI Cable Modem (model 5001) for several years now. I recently did a mjor upgrade of my computer including Vista. Unfortunately, the manufacturer only has drivers up to WinXP, and only as an .exe file. What I need are the .inf driver files contained in the .exe. When the .exe unpacks, it creates files called data1.cab and data2.cab. However, I can't look into these files with WinZip or WinRar. Please help me with this as the manufacturer (Zoom) won't. How to check coax cable?

There are a couple ways you can do this but my personal favorite is the cheapest and easiest. You can short out the ground to the signal pin inside the cable. You will then set a standard multimeter to its continuity setting (the setting that makes the meter beep when the probes are touched together) then touch one probe to the ground and the other to the signal pin, you should hear a beep, if this does not happen, you have a break in the line. If you receive a beep but you still have problems then you can set the meter to 100Ohm or if you have a nice digital meter with auto ranging then you shouldn't worry to much about setting the range. If you recieve a value that exceeds 100Ohms then you have a damaged cable with continuity. If you receive a beep with the short at the end removed then you know you have a short in the line at some point.

A camcorder cannot actually tell if the lens cap is on but it umes it is if it is picking up nothing but black. Make sure you're trying to use the camera in a well lit area and if it still can't pick anything up then it's most likely an internal problem with the camera.

At first would this have made your cortisol function through the roof then after the stress was gone, could your adrenals be so exhausted you are tired all the time. Well, I've been sick for 3 years, done every test imaginable... But as of right now, when I stand I feel off balance, I can't describe it. My vision is weird, it's almost like an out of body experience. Not in a fun way. And I'm always sick to my stomach. And I get occasional headaches. Sometimes I shake, I go from diarrhea to constipation all the time. And lately I've had pain in my back kidney area, the doctor said it was too low to be my kidneys... Occasionally I've had a fast heart beat/short of breath. Nausea is the biggest factor (I never throw up). And I've tested for everything. I'm 16. I just want to be normal again, I don't even know what that feels like sometimes.

I didn't look at your links, but betta fish don't need a very big tank to servive. I would get a small 5 gallon tank, and remeber you can't put more the one in the same tank. Also when putting a new fish into a new tank you should fill the tank up with water and let it sit over night before putting the fish in. This allows the water in the tank to settle.Plus if you take the fish from one tank and put it in another the water temp may not be the same, and it can shock the fish.

What do I do to deter bad behavior in a stray turned house cat?

My roommate recently brought home a stray cat. The cat is the devil incarnate. When she came to our house she was pregnant. My roommate, with the advice of her vet, decided to terminate the pregnancy because the cat was to young and small to safely give birth. Anyways, this cat just does not seem to be learning. She constantly goes after the other female cat in the house. She seems almost bi polar. One second she's happy and curled up next to you and letting you pet her purring away, and then BAM she turns evil and attacks (clawing and biting) your hand. She won't stop jumping on the counters. She's gotten into cabinets and gotten food out of the pantry. I don't like this cat, I don't want this cat around. But it's not my house or my animal. So I have to deal with it. How can I (non violently) deal with this evil beast? I've been attacked to a point where she drew blood and left a scar on my hand, not once but TWICE. Most of the time we're keeping the cat in a large dog cage (same size my brother's great dane has). So she's fine, and I'm fine leaving her in there, but of course my roommate takes her out. Noise doesn't work, and it also scares the other two cats that are fine. We've been spraying her with water, but unless you spray her face it doesn't phase her. I've heard spraying in the face is really bad for their eyes so I try not to. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I have a couple of so called friends like that to and they don't even know that I'm on to them so I just screw with them and tell them something to see how long it takes to get out and then I laugh at them when they tell me and I have told one of them I set them up and they just look at me and say I swear I did not say nothing and they try to get themselves out of it but it's impossible. Nope only one story and one person told. I have done much good for my so called friends and they just used and lied and made things up about me and they know I know it and they know they made a mistake and lost a friend that would have done anything for them. I still visit once and a while but now my allergies are so bad and I use it as a excuse to stay away from them. They are jealous. And are failures and want to look better than you. Do not give them any armed info. Just BS and let them role with it and then you can laugh at the idiots. Find someone outside you can trust and be careful on line I know this 20 year old that can hack in to any ones info. My place is her specialty at hacking into so I guess she can figure out the others. Can't trust just anyone.

Jawbone hurts, please help?

Hello, first would like to say that a dentist once told me that I am one of the few people to never develop wisdom teeth and I never will, but instead I was born with empty pockets inside my jawbone where i would ume the root of the wisdom teeth would be. I do occasionally develop the symptoms of regular wisdom tooth intrusion. Now heres my concern. On my lower Jaw, half way between the ear and chin where the jawbone slopes up, I have a pit and crease that go all the way around my jaw bone, on both sides, the pit and crease are obvious to the touch, the crease feels like my jawbone was once two separate pieces or broken, thought it was never broken. oddly enough the jawbone abnormality lines up with my absent wisdom teeth locations. On my left side the pit is deeper and has been hurting for about 4-5 yrs on and off. when I was 12 I had a abnormally large molar extracted which left a large gap and hole, could this possible be due to dry socket, my dentist then didnt warn me about that possibility but i have long suspected it could be part of the reason. besides the occasional cavity pain, i dont have any other pains. Has anyone heard of similar cases? Thank you

I am on the last part of the last level where you are driving in your warthog, and you are on this big platform thing and you start of having to wheel around 2 corners with some flood hanging around, then you have to keep driving while some of those little aircraft things shoot at you with their lasers. You keep driving while some of the platforms continue to fall. You make this big jump onto this smaller area and then there is just a little ledge on the side. If you sign over your rights, you are agreeing you are no longer a parent of the child. You should no longer pay child support but you don't get visits either. Its like walking away completely. Full custody means that the child would live with her 100% of the time...how much ability that parent has to make decisions regardin the child on her own can be variable. Visitation can still be allowed and child custody is determined then by the court based on everyone's income and expenses. The drama over you and her probably won't get solved...and all you can do is state the facts to the court if asked...its not worth arguing with her over it. Its probably best you consult a lawyer...even just a one time meeting to understand what is happening.

im in the army and im an E3 and the girl i work with is an E4(i wish i could tell her off), she is always telling on me, alwayz observing everything i do like literally staring me down and no one is doing anything about it. she is always saying i have a bad attitude, i dont recall that and i've tried doing nice things for her, but she still give me attitude about everything.. i never say a thing to her. a little thing can happen in a day and she runs back and tells the world what i did and i get punished for it.. Sippy Cups??

I am trying to get my 6 month old son on sippy cups. We've tried pretty much everything nuby, gerber, and playtex. He just doesn't want to hold on...it's almost like he's to lazy to hold anything by himself. I've sat there and listen to him scream because he just doesn't want to hold the sippy cup but he's hungrey. I figured that if he knows I won't run and hold it for him he'll just hold it himself. I just don't get it...the first time we give him a new sippy cup he does just fine but then anytime after that he just wants me to hold it? Is there any advice on how to get him to slowly get him into the sippy? I've heard that some kids just find it easier to drink from a regular cup first(without a spout)? Thanks a bunch!

Graduating Soon -- Shared House/Apartment or Own Apartment?

You could afford any of the options so really it comes down to preference. Think outside the box considering if you WANT to put up with a roommate, WANT do commute long, WANT to put all the extra miles on your car, WANT to save up as much money as you can or splurge some on yourself, consider the neighborhood you'd be living in-how close it is to places you frequent and consider what the chances are that you could lose your job or be transfered and how you'd handle the situation with the rental. Cost of living vs. what you make makes it hard to say weather your job is bad or decent pay just as how much you'd be saving is good/bad. Overall a lot of this comes down to preferences, how you want to live your life now and how you want it to be in the furture (safety, savings, etc.). Since you are new to the job market and renting you'll make a lot of mistakes and hopefully learn from then in the next few years. Take these lessons to help you make better decisions later. With that in mind my only real suggestion is to go with the more conservative choices uming you'll learn what works better for you over time and will have to make adjustments to your choices accordingly in the next few years.
